How does the Ascension® Bi-Fold Foundation support the mattress?

The Ascension® Bi-Fold Foundation is designed with both vertical and horizontal steel slats that provide all the needed support. Its design does not require any additional support for your mattress.

What colors do you offer for the cover of the Ascension® Bi-Fold Foundation?

The easy zip-off cover for the Ascension® Bi-Fold Foundation is available in a combination of black and white as pictured. We currently do not offer the cover in any other colors.

Does your trial period include accessories?

Our 120-night trial applies to mattresses only. Sheets, mattress protectors, pillows and foundations can be returned 30 days after the date of delivery for a full refund. Should you need to return sheets, mattress protectors, pillows, or foundations, we ask that you package the merchandise and contact us with package dimensions so that we can email you a prepaid shipping label. We then ask that the merchandise be shipped back to our facility at no charge to you. All sales on adjustable bases are final and non-refundable.

What is your warranty on foundations?

We offer a generous 3 year limited parts replacement warranty. For additional details, please contact our support team.

Does the Ascension® Bi-Fold Foundation come with a frame?

No, we do not currently sell the Ascension® Bi-Fold Foundation with a frame. This will need to be purchased separately.

How tall are the foundations? How much storage space is available?

Our foundations are available in a selection of varying heights. Please see our chart below for the foundation height options and their corresponding clearance spaces.

"What arrived was not the product shown in this picture. It was a foldable frame which is what the description said, so not the biggest deal. The really terrible part is the frame moves and makes noise with every shift of weight. Had to stop using it and can't return it since it was on clearance. Lesson learned."

"Poor design. Purchased 2 of these to support a new king size mattress. Both of the covers for the metal frames are very flimsy, particularly the zippers. On both units, the fabric tore and the zippers separated, making it impossible to enclose the metal frames. Guess you get what you pay for."

"The cover that is supposed to go around the bedframe ripped was ripped at the seam as soon as I opened the box. I thought I could repair it myself but every move I made exhilarated the seam rip and now the entire cover is destroyed. I bought this box spring because I thought it was made in America, like the mattresses, I was wrong. It is my fault for not looking closer at the description, but I am very disappointed. I am going to buy a few planks of wood from the hardware store to replace this terrible box spring."

The clearance price point for

"The clearance price point for this foundation was too good not to get when I paired it with a purchase of my Ttian Plus mattress. However, the frame is too small to fill out the full width of my twin bed frame. As a result, the foundation often slips out of place right off of my bed frame. This causes both my foundation and bed to fall, which is not safe! I often fear turning in my bed because my weight may shift off the bed frame which has happened many times already. The slipping has even cause the foundation cover to already show signs of wear."
